Mother's Day '08

Connor & Alex fishing...

Look at how tall Connor is...can you believe it?

Sophie likes to eat the dirt best!
Sydney thinks she's Sophie's big sis and Sophie adores her!

But she loves Kris the most!

Brinnlie & Hallie with Sydy Pie!

Connor is such a good brother! Sydney says he's her hero.

My sweet angels (most if the time) jk... all the time! I feel so blessed that I have the most perfect kids! Seriously, you all know them and I'm not sure what I did to help them be that way...they do it all on their own. For Mother's Day all I wanted to do was go fishing with them and have a picnic and they were all on board! We had a super fun day! Uncle Kris, Syd and Sophie joined us at Sand Hollow in UT for some fish'n...didn't catch anything though! But enjoyed every moment together.

Mt Charleston (May)

Alex's school Lamping Elementary had a 3rd grader overnight trip to Mt Charleston. They invited the parents to come up to the camp site for dinner and a show. They served hamburgers (and yes I actually ate it) and did numerous skits by the campfire. It was so much fun!!!!!

Liberty, Missouri

In April after my 3rd trip to Kansas City, MO...I was finally able to take time out to go to Liberty, MO. I visited a few church historic sites including the Liberty Jail. It was so sad and humbling to see how tiny the jail cell was where Joseph Smith spent so many months. He couldn't even stand up straight...It was a beautiful Spring morning when we went in and we walk out to pouring rain. I loved it!

Megan Sorenson

One of Alex's BFF, Megan, came to visit from St. George. Megan is Connor's best friend Spencer's sister (get it?). They were our favorite family friends from there. Both Mom, Anna and Dad, John are my very good friends (the family Connor stayed with to finish the school year). The girl's had so much fun. I have such a special place in my heart for Megan. In UT the neighbor kids were always at my house to help me make cookies or play a virtual game of The Price is Right... out of all of them....Megan has always been one of my favorites! She started calling me "mom" about a year ago and I miss her when she's back home in UT!

Grand Canyon

I had never been to the Grand Canyon before and one of my friends took note. As a surprise I finally got to go from a birds eye view. It was a helicopter tour through the Grand Canyon. It was absolutely amazing and the most thoughtful surprise! Definitely worth the wait!

April

A day at Aunt Kristie's. So much fun!!!!

Webkinz April '08

So I finally broke down in April and bought the girl's their first Webkinz...I didn't even know what I was getting into!!! I made a chart for them so they could do extra chores to "earn" them. They now have 4 each!

Where did I go

WOW!!!! I have been BUSY!!! I know most of you thought I had disapeared but I'm right here....Let me give you an update since my April post... I found a live-in nanny, Amanda who worked full time with us until last Friday (August 22nd)....

H E L P ! ! ! ! !

I NEED a "live-in" nanny...like yesterday! For 15 weeks!

Honestly if anyone would recommend anyone that would be a HUGE help! I was just hired as the Vice President and Marketing Director of Stewart Title. It's an International company that has been around for over 100 years and provides Escrow services for Real Estate transactions. Yeah for me...bad for the girls.

What I need:
Someone to come here to Vegas and be a "live in" nanny from NOW until the middle of July. I will provide room and board and pay $250 a week. This candidate has to drive and be a loving caring person with my children. They will need to take Alex to school & pick her up then have Sydney all day. I have planned activities they need to attend. Dance, gymnastics, activity days, ice skating, piano and play-dates. I will be attending various events in the evening time as well so the nanny will need to be available then also.

Connor is going to finish the remainder of the school year in Utah and leaves this weekend. So it will just be the girls...
So start brain storming people you know who may know someone (preferably of girl) that would like to earn $4000... over the next couple months.

Thank you!! Thank you!!

Easter Morning

We had a terrific Easter Morning. Connor's closest friend, Spencer, from St. George was able to be there with us. This year we left a note for the Bunny to not hide the hard boiled eggs we colored. So instead the Bunny filled plastic eggs with coins and dollars...that made the "hunt" a lot more competitive. They were only allowed to find 10 eggs each and then they were finished & had to leave the others for everyone else. The excitement was... when you cracked your egg open was it a bunch of pennies, quarters, a dollar bill or twenty's. I loved watching the kids faces as I explained the rules and what they could potentially get...it was priceless!

Favorite Friends

My dearest friend, Brynnley, that I've known since I was 13, has these 4 amazing little girls that I just can't get enough of! I feel so blessed to have their family live right here in Las Vegas!!! My girls consider them their very closest friends. Maddie, Hannah, Eliza, and Livy. The 3 youngest came over for a "play date" We went to the park and colored Easter Eggs. The baby of the group, Livy, LOVES to just talk and talk and talk...She's this little tiny little peanut that thinks she's a big girl. Just ask her, she'll tell you. She's my little shadow. They are all so beautiful and I love all 4 of them to pieces! My girls think they are the best!
